l3kn I was trying to ask if your drawings could become some kind of new Toki Pona script, like sitelen pona or sitelen sitelen. I guess it would be sitelen kasi :) For the context, I saw sitelen musi on Reddit a while ago and since your picture has patterns it reminded me of a script system. Also, maybe I should have said “sitelen sina li sitelen sin pi toki pona seme?” or “sitelen sina li toki pona kepeken sitelen sin seme?” I still have most of the book to read, haha.

I think you need an “anu” before the “seme”,
otherwise “seme” modifies the noun before it.

“sina wile moku e kili anu seme?” - “Do you want to eat the fruit (or what)?”
“sina wile moku e kili seme?” - “What fruit do you want to eat?”

A computer generated sitelen sin is a nice idea,
I’ll try to learn sitelen pona and see what I can come up with!

l3kn Yes, you’re right, I’m currently starting lesson 7 and I clearly missed a few things regarding questions! I’m eager to see what you’ll come up with, there’s a lot of room for experimental Toki Pona scripts. I also have a few ideas I’d like to explore at some point, but I need to get a way better understanding of the whole language first.

l3kn It took me a while to notice that unless I’m mistaken, “ensu” might in fact be “esun”, at first I thought it was an unofficial word :)

So you’ve bought two new plants in a gardening shop. The first plant is all black, with plenty of branches (40?), and the second one is all white, with a lot of small petals or leaves. I’m not sure I’m getting this right at all, but this is what I understand :)

You’re right, I made a typo creating the flashcard for “esun”.
I also mixed up “taso” and “laso”,
one plant is dark green, the other one is light green.

“esun ilo en kasi” was my translation of “hardware store (with a garden/plant section)”
so your translation is on point!

l3kn I’ve been trying to translate for the last few days, but I’m not sure about the exact meaning. I understand you wanted to do some gardening and planted something (crops? the plants you’ve bought earlier?) but I’m not sure what. Then you have a problem, apparently your plants didn’t grow roots? Or is it something related to their pot? Or to a garden hose?

I see no issue with structure or words, but besides the fact you want to learn more about gardening, I can’t picture what precisely happened, haha. Though maybe it doesn’t really matters.
