A video game, probably some kind of weird hybrid between a roguelike and a dating sim. But I’m toying with the idea of starting with a lightweight solo tabletop RPG, also as a design tool, to re-explore the concept deeper before that. In fact, this project started as a tabletop RPG a couple of decades ago, so it would be funny to come back to its original medium.
I never thought about a manual, but it’s an interesting idea. Game design documents are usually meant for the developers only, but pushing the same logic to write a Toki Pona document aiming at the players would be an excellent exercise, especially for a game that doesn’t exist yet.
